Top-ten mattress marketer Comfort Solutions, whose brands include Laura Ashley, Sleep ID and King Koil, announced it would return to High Point Market after several years' absence. The company's new showroom will be in the Commerce Wing of the IHFC, showroom C659.

“Comfort Solutions has not participated in the High Point market for several years," said Owen Shoemaker, Senior Vice President of Product & Marketing Development for Comfort Solutions. "However, we know it’s an important event for retailers and it seems to be gathering steam as a bedding market.”

Shoemaker noted that recent strong response to the company's products and programs made the decision to return to High Point much easier.  "We were compelled to come to High Point on the heels of that success," he said.  "We look forward to seeing our customers and to finding new ways we might serve them from the High Point market venue.”

All of Comfort Solutions' brands, including King Koil, will be represented at the show.  But, Shoemaker explained, "our market focus will be on our Sleep ID and Extended Life collections, both of which are gaining a lot of momentum with retailers across the country.

Sleep ID is a line of personal, dual comfort beds backed by a computer-based BodyMatch™ evaluation system. The entire program enables shoppers to identify the best Sleep ID model for their body type. "We plan to introduce in High Point several new performance features in the Delta Z models, which are at the top end of the line.

“We’ll also be emphasizing our Extended Life line, which we position as 'The No Sag Mattress.'  It's the first product specifically designed to deliver both comfort and durability to plus-size (and all-size) sleepers."

Opening in 1921, IHFC was the original showroom building in High Point and after 90 years of expansion remains the centerpiece of the world’s largest home-furnishings trade show that attracts more than 80,000 participants twice a year to 2,000 showrooms covering 11.5 million square feet. IHFC alone is home to 500 of the leading home furnishings manufacturers, including 13 of the top 20 companies, and covers 3.5 million square feet.
