Oslo High Point introduction
Leggett & Platt® Consumer Products Group announced that it will feature three new ornamental beds at the High Point Furniture Market. Available as part of the Leggett & Platt® Fashion Bed™ brand, the ornamental beds vary in style and offer consumers the opportunity to freshen their bedroom décor with only a small investment.
“Economic uncertainties continue to challenge consumers. They just aren’t investing in significant remodeling projects. To help our retail partners capture consumer interest, we have added a handful of ornamental beds that allow consumers to affordably update their bedroom décor,” said Rob Woods, president of Leggett & Platt® Consumer Products Group.

One of the three additions is the Leggett & Platt® Fashion Bed™ “Oslo” ornamental bed. The simple lines of this European-inspired platform bed perfectly blend form, function and comfort. Silver-finished metal combined with merlotfinished wood creates a dramatic contrast to fit any contemporary décor. The bed is available in Queen, King and Cal King sizes, retailing at $599 for a Queen.
In addition to Oslo, a metal ornamental bed and a daybed have been added to the Leggett & Platt® Fashion Bed™ line to complement transitional home décor styles. East Coast, Southeast and Midwest buyers also will get their first look at ornamental beds first offered at the Las Vegas Market in August.
