Accessories Resource Team (ART™), the association for the decorative accessory segment of the home furnishings industry, has announced the 13 vendors participating in the organization’s ART Card Program during the 2012 winter Las Vegas Market. In addition, ART™ will co-host an industry mixer with The Phillips Collection on Monday, January 30th, along with presenting a “Superior Retail Selling: Powerful Principals of Influence” seminar on Tuesday, January 31st.
The ART Card Program, which launched in the summer of 2011, is exclusive to ART™ members. Annual membership to ART is open to home accents retailers, manufacturers, reps, designers and industry professionals ($250/year). The ART Card program provides each retailer member with a personalized ART Card, which can be presented to participating vendors, upon placing an order, to receive exclusive specials. Savings realized by the retail member often exceed the yearly membership dues cost.

- Monday, Jan. 30: Industry Mixer. A networking mixer event co-hosted with The Phillips Collection. Time: 4PM; Location: Bldg. A, Suite 202
- Tuesday, Jan. 31: Seminar – “Superior Retail Selling: 6 Powerful Principals of Influence,” led by Jeff Hiller, PROAction. Three years of economic turmoil have unsettled the market, while big box, mass discounters, flash sale sites and others have drained sales from traditional retail. This seminar provides valuable perspective on key industry trends and ammunition for retailers to connect, convince and close more customers. Time: 11AM; Bldg. B, 16th Floor World Forum.
