San Francisco Mart Announces Personnel Changes

The San Francisco Mart is pleased to announce personnel changes in Leasing and Marketing. Roseann Carini has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Leasing and Marketing. Carini, who has worked in Leasing for 10 years, will now oversee the Marketing department as well. "Roseann has a strong sales aptitude, keen marketing savvy and profound knowledge of the furniture industry," says SFM President Michael Gennet. "As head of Leasing, she worked closely with the Marketing Department, so the transition into her new role should be relatively seamless." Carini will supervise the home furnishings leasing activities and maintain her commercial leasing responsibilities. The marketing function had been led by Valerie Pollock, who left the Mart on her own accord after nine years to explore new pursuits. Carini will transfer all her furniture tenant assignments to other members of the Leasing staff. Frank Fano, who has been with the Mart for 11 years, will continue as Vice President of Home Furnishings and will deal with many of the major tenants, based in both the West and East. Frank Briones, who has been with the Mart for 8 years, has been promoted to Director of Leasing. Briones will assume responsibility for some permanent tenant lease assignments and will continue managing temporary leasing at the Mart and at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Susan Sanchez, who has been with the Mart for 11 years, has been named Leasing Executive. She will maintain her duties as Leasing administrator, as well as assume tenant liaison responsibilities. The San Francisco Mart is a wholesale home furnishings market center that is open year 'round to retail buyers, interior designers and other members of the trade. The Mart, which located at 1355 Market Street between 9th and 10th Streets, hosts semiannual Markets in January and July.
