Hardwood Manufacturers Association Names Slate Of Officers For 2000

Members of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association (HMA)
elected new officers and directors at HMA's annual National Conference & Expo, March 23 - 25 in Tampa, FL.
New officers for 2000 are: President: Jonathan Martin, Roy 0. Martin Lumber Co., Alexandria, La.; First Vice President: Roy Cummings, Cummings Lumber Co., Troy, Pa.; and, Second Vice President: Bill Buchanan, Jr., Buchanan Lumber Birmingham, Aliceville, Ala.
In addition to the officers, HMA also elected the following to its Executive Committee: Victor Barringer, Coastal Lumber Co., Weldon, N.C.; Rob Taylor, Northwest Hardwoods, Federal Way, Wash.; Tony Parks, Anderson-Tully Co., Vicksburg, Miss.; Jeff Meyer, Baillie Lumber Co., Hamburg, N.Y.; Gordon Conner, Nicolet Hardwoods Corp., Laona, Wis.; and, John Bouwer, Van Keulen & Winchester Lumber Co., Grand Rapids, Mich.
The Hardwood Manufacturers Association is the largest national trade association devoted exclusively to advancing the interests of U.S. hardwood lumber producers and processors. HMA has 159 member companies in 34 states.
