Little Rebekah Yi, the first baby of the new millennium in the continental U.S. has a new grandfather - grandfather clock, that is. On March 13, she became the owner of a Marcross Millennium Edition grandfather clock from the world's leading clock manufacturer - Howard MillerĀ®. Last November, Phil Miller, executive vice president of Howard Miller, promised that the first baby born in the continental United States in the new millennium would be given an heirloom version of Father Time with one of the company's special grandfather clocks with a millennium inscription. The Yi family accepted the valuable grandfather clock from Paul Godnig of the Country Collection in West Brighton, Staten Island, and Howard Miller salesperson of the year, Shelly Schwartz at a party to celebrate the happy event. Schwartz is sales representative for metropolitan New York and New Jersey.
