On June 25th, Montana outdoorsman and artist Dick Idol held sales training sessions for Hom Furniture managers in the Minneapolis, Minnesota marketing area. Included in the sessions were Idol’s stories about the inspiration behind the outdoor-inspired Dick Idolä home collection and how his signature furniture pieces came to be. The Dick Idolä home collection, produced by Klaussner Furniture, has been expanded into six Hom Furniture stores located in the Minnesota area. Jerry Underwood, General Sales Manager, of Hom Furniture said, “It is rare that the designer/artist that inspires a collection makes himself available to educate sales consultants. These training sessions were a great opportunity for our sales group to get to know Dick Idol personally, understand the vision about how his line was developed, and get excited about selling the products.” The Montana-based Idol’s collection including home furnishings, lighting, and accessories is designed to provide consumers with new, affordable ways to bring the beauty and spirit of the great outdoors into their homes.
