CORT Business Services Corporation announced that it acquired the rental contracts and certain other assets of Cost Plus Enterprises Inc. effective February 18, 2000. Cost Plus Enterprises Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Stamford, CT, rents furniture to accounts in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Annual revenues were almost $7 million in 1999. Paul N. Arnold, President and Chief Executive Officer of CORT said, "The acquisition of Cost Plus Enterprises is an exciting step for CORT, augmenting our two prior acquisitions in the New York metropolitan area.
