Industry Veteran Anita Frankiewicz Brings Marketing Expertise To Premier Bedding Group

Anita Frankiewicz will be joining Premier Bedding Group (PBG) as Director of Marketing, it was announced today by Mike Ertel, President and Chief Operating Officer, PBG. In the newly-created position, Frankiewicz will oversee marketing of Bassett-branded mattresses as well as the company's other brands including Carrington Chase, Nature's Rest and Performax Latex. Frankiewicz already has plans to design a retail advertising program for each of the four brands. "At Premier Bedding Group, we are striving to be a leader not only in the design and manufacture of luxury mattresses, but also with innovative marketing and merchandising programs. With almost 10 years experience in the industry, and an advertising award under her belt, Anita is the perfect candidate to spearhead our marketing efforts," said Ertel. Frankiewicz previously spent six years as Director of Marketing for the Restonic Mattress Corporation in Rosemont, Illinois. She also served as Marketing Manager at Serta Mattresses for three years. "I am looking forward to helping our retail partners promote the complete line of PBG mattresses by educating consumers about the wonderful health benefits and other quality features of our products. Frankiewicz won the Point of Purchase Advertising Industry's Best of Industry Award for Outstanding Merchandising Achievement in 1996 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Eastern Illinois University. She will be relocating to Tampa from Arlington Heights, Illinois. Premier Bedding Group, headquartered in Tampa, FL, is a mattress company and the exclusive North American licensee of Bassett mattresses. The company's product lines include Carrington Chase by Bassett, Dream Maker by Bassett, Performax and Nature's Rest. PBG was recently formed by LIS Corporation, an investment company with holdings in the bedding, marketing/communications and hotel industries.
