Exclaim Technologies, Inc., of San Jose, Calif. (Silicon Valley) has announced its intent to open an office in High Point, N.C., to serve as its primary contact point with the furniture industry. The new High Point office reflects enthusiastic response in the furniture industry to Exclaim's online trading hub, which connects manufacturers and retailers of furniture and home products. The office, at a site to be determined, will be staffed with professionals from the furniture industry and will open later this year. Having already developed business-to-business vertical hubs for fine art, collectibles, and gifts, Exclaim's Trade Exchange for the furniture industry will "go live" later this year. Exclaim's strategy is to create e-commerce buying communities for home products, with furniture as the focal point. Exclaim's office in High Point will be the central contact point for its relationships with all members of the furniture and home décor community.
