UFAC, CPSC and others to talk about furnishings flammability at Polyurethanes Expo 2001

Representatives from UFAC, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and the California Bureau of Home Furnishings will be on hand at Polyurethanes Expo 2001 to talk about recent progress toward establishing a combustibility standard for home furnishings. A separate session will discuss current technological developments in polyurethane materials for furniture foam. The Expo, sponsored by the Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry (API), will be held Oct. 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio. It will bring together approximately 2,000 delegates from polyurethane suppliers, distributors and end-users around the world. More than 70 companies will participate in the exposition.
