Thomasville Stores To Open In Wellington, West Boca Raton Hendricks Opens Fourth and Fifth of Eight Planned Locations in South Florida

The fourth of eight planned Thomasville Home Furnishings stores in South Florida opened in Wellington in Palm Beach County on Saturday, May 1, 2004, and the fifth is scheduled to open around the beginning of June in West Boca Raton. The stores are owned and operated by Hendricks Furniture Group, a North Carolina-based furniture retailer. Hendricks also operates the Thomasville Home Furnishings stores in Fort Lauderdale, Jensen Beach and Miami, and other stores are planned to open in Florida in West Palm Beach, East Boca and Destin by the end of the year. “We’re pleased with our customers’ responses to our first three stores in South Florida,” said Larry Hendricks, president. “Thomasville offers so many different styles of furniture – there’s something for everyone.
