The theme and logo for the 1998 International Juvenile Products Show were released today according to William L. MacMillan, president of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA). The theme, "Focusing on Tomorrow," is illustrated by a colorful patchwork of international children, their parents and their grandparents. The collage is slightly out of focus, but the center is crystal clear and the smiling faces of the future are prominently outlined by the JPMA logo. The theme, designed by Identity in Moorestown, NJ will be used on all promotional items, in advertising domestically and internationally, and in all other show related items. "There is terrific excitement about the future of the Juvenile products industry and what better way to showcase that than through tomorrow's leaders, teachers and inventors - the world's children," said MacMillan. "The International Juvenile Products Show is focused on the on the future and many of the world's most exciting new baby products will be introduced in Dallas. It truly is the industry's must attend event." More than 380 manufacturers will exhibit and nearly 3000 buyers from around the world are expected to attend the show to be held in Dallas from October 25 - 28. An additional 50,000 square feet of show space has been added, bringing the show space to nearly 600,000 square feet. JPMA anticipates a complete sell-out of exhibit space. Registration material will be mailed in early July to all buyers who attended the show in 1996 and/or 1997. Other buyers who need registration information should contact the JPMA office, 609-231-8500. The JPMA is a national trade organization of more than 250 companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. These companies manufacture and/or import juvenile products such as cribs, car seats, strollers, bedding and a wide variety of accessories and decorative items. E-mail: jpma@ahint.com
