Capel Incorporated To Aid Tsunami Victims With Rug Sales Proceeds

Capel Incorporated announced it will join the widespread relief efforts by donating a portion of the company's 2005 first quarter proceeds to tsunami victims. Capel, based out of North Carolina since 1917, has a long-standing friendship and business partnership with many rugmakers in India and designs and imports hand tufted, hand knotted, flat woven and bath rugs from the country yearly. Like so many others around the world, the company quickly looked for a way to assist victims of the tsunami disaster. In this effort, Capel will donate a portion of its proceeds from the sale of all Indian-made rugs from January - March of 2005. These funds will generate money for vital supplies like clean water and food for those in need. Donations will be distributed through the American Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund.
