First "Barclay Butera Home" Brand Showroom Launches, in Newport Beach, CA

Following last week’s launch of his annual Independent Party in Park City, UT, designer/retailer Barclay Butera, ASID, continues what will be a long list of big announcements for his company this year by debuting the first BARCLAY BUTERA HOME showroom on Saturday, February 5th. Located at 1733 Westcliff Dr. in Newport Beach – and with approximately 2900 sq. ft. – its neighbor is his 11-yeaold Barclay Butera collection showroom. The locations will co-exist with a different corporate focus for each. BARCLAY BUTERA HOME (BBH) showrooms expand upon and emphasize the Barclay Butera brand by offering his dedicated brand of furnishings and accessories. Starting with his own nationally-distributed and customized upholstery line – renamed Barclay Butera Home (formerly Butera Home Furnishings) – he will eventually add his own home accessories to the mix, responding to requests for him to extend his vision of fashion for the home by providing his own unique creations for every aspect of home design. The BBH showrooms will have a clean and open presentation, highlighting the richness of each piece in its best space and light. Says Butera, “Transitional timeless elegance is the overall goal with these showrooms, less product and more statement pieces allows the customer to appreciate the quality and lines of my pieces” The existing, successful Barclay Butera collection retail showrooms will continue to offer the eclectic blend of varied top designer lines of furnishings and accessories, including Ralph Lauren, Baker, Henredon and, of course, Barclay Butera Home. Regarding the long term corporate strategy, Barclay Butera Inc. CFO Haleh Fardi states that the new BBH division strengthens and elevates the lifestyle message of the Barclay Butera brand nationally. “While we and our clients love the mixed aspect of the collection showrooms, being able to focus on the beauty and quality of the shapes and fabrics of Barclay’s individual pieces in a simpler setting is a great opportunity.
