Portland Gift & Accessories Show Scheduled For June 4-7, 2005

San Francisco: The 148th semi-annual Portland Gift & Accessories Show®, which takes place June 4-7, 2005, is the first gift market of the summer buying season. This June, the Portland show will feature many manufacturers and artisans that will use the market to launch their product to the wholesale trade. In addition, there will be a major emphasis on seasonal and holiday products as well as home décor, garden & outdoor product and personal accessories. The upcoming event will feature over 500 booths and 3,000 lines as well as all new educational programming—including two make-it-and-take-it workshops, the popular Demonstration Theater and several buyer amenities. The Market The Portland market will include approximately 300 exhibiting companies, encompassing 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space at the Oregon Convention Center. The Portland Gift & Accessories Show® will feature a variety of giftware, decorative accessories, personal and fashion accessories, home décor, garden & outdoor product, one-of-a-kind, handmade merchandise, antiques and collectibles, tableware and fine jewelry. Nearly 5,500 buyers are expected to attend the show. “The June 4-7, 2005 Portland market gives retailers in this Northwest region a ‘jump start’ to buying for the upcoming fourth quarter. In addition, there has been an increased interest in the Portland Gift & Accessories Show from exhibiting companies that show in the Seattle and San Francisco markets.
