Canadian Electric Fireplace Manufacturer Grows Distribution Significantly

Dimplex North America Limited (www.dimplex.com) announced today that it is opening two new distribution facilities in the United States. The larger of the two facilities, strategically located in Indianapolis, Ind., is approximately 130,000 square feet and is designed to service the company's retail customer base throughout the United States and its new construction supply business in all states east of the Rocky Mountains. This facility will warehouse and supply a full range of Symphony®, Electraflame®, and Optiflame® branded electric fireplace products and accessories. A second facility of 15,000 square feet is located in Vancouver, Wash. and is designed to service the specific needs of the company's new construction markets in the mountain and west coast states with the Optiflame® product line. Both new facilities are under lease and will be fully operable by July 1, 2005. In addition, Dimplex's Cambridge, Ontario distribution facility is also being expanded to 150,000 square feet and will be servicing the requirements of all Dimplex electric fireplace customers across Canada with the Dimplex®, Symphony®, Electraflame®, and Optiflame® brands, the company's Electric Heating customers throughout North America with the Dimplex®, Chromalox™ and Electromode® brands and the company's growing export business.
