Stanley Furniture Co., Inc., has broken ground for a $1 million expansion that will enable its Robbinsville, N.C. plant to more effectively compete in the global marketplace.
The 25,000 sq. ft. addition brings the facility, which manufactures Young America® youth furniture, to approximately 586,000 sq. ft.
The expansion will provide the necessary space needed to effectively manage operations going forward. Included in the plant renovations will be the relocation of the storage of some raw materials, product packaging area and some administrative offices and additional finished goods warehouse space.
