Host and WithIt member, Jana Platina – Phipps, introduced the latest products and trends from Home Couture Collective, a design and sales representation for innovative trimmings, antique and modern buttons, leather trimmings, fabric flowers and supplier to Gelberg Braid. Located in New York City, this forward thinking designer shared her vision while hosting the WithIt breakfast event in her showroom. WithIt VP of Scholarships, Sev Ritchie and WithIt President, Robin Campbell announced the recipients of the Jena and Stephen Hall Scholarships. Scholarships in the amount of $5000.00 each will go for tuition to Julie Anne Allred, Meredith College, North Carolina and Alex Olivia Rosenhaus, Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia design. Students submitted applications that included references, transcripts and an essay as to why they are seeking a career in the home furnishings industry. Colleges and Universities as well as the WithIt website offer the information to students across the US.
