Furniture World News on

The largest furniture show to hit the city, the Las Vegas Furniture Show, taking place July 25-28 at the Sands Exposition Center, will feature some of the nation’s top manufacturers, as well as new and exciting lines debuting at the event. The event boasts more than 300,000 square feet and more than 100 manufacturers, including Las Vegas-based Milano Design, as well as unique manufacturers, such as Comfor-Pedic, Urban Habitat, V Collection and Viewpoint Leather. “I am thrilled to able to present this to the people of Las Vegas,” said P. Stephan Phelps, president and chief executive officer of Triad Expositions, the developer of this event. “When the idea came to mind to hold a furniture show, Las Vegas was the first city I thought would truly appreciate it. People here are conscious of trends in decorating, and with all of the new homes being built, and new people relocating to the city every month, it made sense to have the event here.” The exhibition floor will be open Monday, July 25, through Thursday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The floor will close early its final day, at 5 p.m. The show will be held semi-annually, with the next dates to bet set for January 2006. “This show in July is going to be incredible. It has already exceeded my expectations,” said Phelps. “I know that the show in January will go beyond even my wildest expectations.” Triad Expositions, LLC, a national trade show development and management firm, has more than 25 years of experience in the tradeshow management industry. Its staff has developed three Tradeshow 200 events, two of which made the list after the first show. Triad has a national reputation for producing quality trade show events, and has developed and produced more than 100 national events.
