Biltmore Estate For Your Home, the consumer products division of Biltmore Estate, has recently signed brand licensing agreements with three new partners: Austin Productions of Ronkonkomma, NY; Capel Rugs of Troy, NC; and Natural Creations of Bloomer, WI. New products will be introduced through these partners during the upcoming trade show season beginning with the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC, in October 2005. In High Point, Natural Creations will be debuting a line of permanent botanicals inspired by the extensive use of artificial and live floral arrangements within Biltmore House as well as the natural beauty of the gardens and landscape designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. “We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with Biltmore Estate on this collection,” says David Lau of Natural Creations. “The Biltmore Estate name connotes timeless elegance, quality, and style. This will be a tremendous opportunity to capture the heritage and beauty of Biltmore Estate and convey this in a collection of classic designs that are on target with today’s lifestyles and décor themes.” Natural Creations manufactures permanent florals, trees, and botanicals for leading retailers and interior design firms throughout North America. It’s nationally recognized team of AIFD-certified designers creates collections across all style categories. Natural Creations’ licensing partners include Dick Idol, World Vineyards, and Biltmore Estate For Your Home. Product launches are timed to coincide with the introduction of furniture through the new Biltmore Estate For Your Home by Magnussen Home. The initial collection will feature bedroom, dining room, occasional pieces and home accents. Rather than strict reproductions, the furnishings, architecture and details of Biltmore House inspire the collection. The pieces are traditional in nature but designed and scaled for the modern lifestyle of today’s busy consumers. “These new partners represent a major step in aligning a full range of decorative accessories around the Biltmore program with Magnussen Home. We’ve carefully selected the companies for quality of product and design, for their relationships established within the retail community and for how well they match up against our target consumer,” said Tim Rosebrock, Brand Manager-Home Furnishings for Biltmore Estate. “This is a significant opportunity for retailers to provide a complete presentation to their customers, leveraging the power of the Biltmore Estate brand.” Biltmore Estate is George W. Vanderbilt’s historic 8,000-acre estate in Western North Carolina. The centerpiece of the property is Biltmore House, a 250-room French Renaissance-style chateau. Today, Biltmore Estate For Your Home draws inspiration from the entertaining and hospitality extended to Vanderbilt’s guests at the turn of the nineteenth century.
