Vermont, Precision Woodworks, a domestic manufacturer of Youth, Master Bedroom and Home Office, recently announced the introduction of a new division, Bolton Furniture Company. Bolton Furniture Company, a division of Vermont Precision Woodworks, will be the name of its import division. Currently Vermont Precision imports two collections, Essex and the new Wakefield collection. Both these collections will fall under the Bolton Furniture Umbrella. The Essex product is a maple collection. It is a simple shaker style and available in White and Natural. This collection features 5 bed styles available in twins, bunks and the new study loft configuration. Two new beds were just introduced in High Point, the A1 cottage and A7 classic panel. The 5 maple bed styles come standard in White and Natural. In addition The company will stock the maple beds un-finished, which offers dealers the opportunity to have these beds finished in any of their standard finishes. The up-charge to have the beds finished in other than White or Natural is $50 for a twin or $150 for a bunk. "In the past dealers have sold our import beds with domestic cases," explained Geoffrey Jackson, President. "Up to this point it was limited to White or Natural. Now, because we stock the import maple beds un-finished, a dealer can match up any of these beds in any finish to any of our domestic cases in any finish. This offers a great deal of flexibility to our dealers and a great starting bed price." "The Wakefield collection, made in Birch, was introduced at the ABC show in Las Vegas and at the recently completed High Point show. The introductions were a complete success with many dealers placing their initial stock orders," continued Jackson. The Wakefield collection is available in both White and Natural. It features a youthful style with framed drawer fronts and two bed style options. The bed styles include a panel bed and a mission bed. Both bed styles come as twins, bunks, study lofts and sleep/study/storage loft systems. "The Essex maple product is available for immediate shipment," noted Jackson. "This product has been in stock over the past 2 years. Because of negotiated cost reductions we were able to lower the prices on the Essex collection anywhere from 15 to 30%. "In the Wakefield collection, most of the initial stock was sold thru at the completion of the ABC show. Additional product is on order and will be available to ship in January. The Wakefield product will begin shipping in December. "Bolton Furniture Company offers the value of off shore pricing with the backing and expertise of a domestic manufacturer. Four piece bedroom sets will have a starting retail price of $999. Twin beds will start at $259, bunks at $619 and lofts at $799," he concluded. All domestically made product, both youth and master bedroom, will continue to fall under the VERMONT PRECISION WOODWORKS company.
