World Market Center Announces Online Registration for January 2006 Las Vegas Show

Registration for the January 2006 Las Vegas Market is now available online. Attendees and exhibiting companies can register by visiting www.lasvegasmarket.com and completing the online application process. Online registration is available for buyers, designers, international registrants, exhibitors, and representatives. Other industry members such as non-exhibiting manufacturers, media, speakers and suppliers are also able to register on-line. The upcoming Market is being held January 30 – February 3, 2006 at World Market Center and the Pavilions, adjacent to the main building. In addition, temporary exhibits at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center will open on Tuesday, January 31 and will include more than 580,000 square feet of exhibiting companies. In all, the Winter 2006 Las Vegas Market will offer nearly 2.3 million square feet of resources covering the entire spectrum of home furnishings including furniture, home accessories, lighting, rugs/floor coverings, bedding, mattresses, textiles and more. Las Vegas Market showroom hours of operations are 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On Friday, Market hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. To link World Market Center’s campus with the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, an enhanced and continuous shuttle program will be offered each day of Market, running from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. These inter-venue shuttles are in addition to the already planned shuttles to and from 16 individual host hotel properties throughout Las Vegas. “We are pleased to offer a number of service enhancements to our shuttle program for the January Market, including increased service during peak hours. We will also be offering more transportation between all of the market venues, with these shuttles stopping right at the front door of World Market Center making travel even more convenient for attendees. We will also have shuttle greeters at all of our host hotels throughout the show to ensure that market goers have full schedule information,” said Briana Mackey, Las Vegas Market’s Show Director. World Market Center will hold its Summer 2006 Las Vegas Market July 24-28, 2006. The venue line up for the July 2006 market will include the 1.3 million square foot Building A as well as approximately 350,000 square feet in the Pavilions adjacent to World Market Center and over one million square feet at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
