American Drew’s PROFILES line to be featured on EXTREME MAKEOVER – HOME EDITION

American Drew, a division of La-Z-Boy Incorporated, announced that two collections from their new PROFILES line will be prominently featured in an upcoming episode of ABC’s wildly popular television show, EXTREME MAKEOVER – HOME EDITION. The show, hosted by the now famous Ty Pennington, features a very deserving family in southwestern Virginia and is tentatively scheduled to air on Sunday, January 29th at 7:00PM. “When we were approached by the show’s designers to provide products from our PROFILES lines, we couldn’t have been more thrilled.”, said Johne Albanese, VP-Marketing for American Drew. “Most of us here, like most of America, are huge fans of the show and the good that they do and considered it an honor to be a part of such a worthwhile cause.” The show’s designers selected pieces from the Camden collection in both black and white to complete the living and dining areas and the Portifina collection for the master bedroom. “It was a great experience to work with the producers and everyone who touched this felt somewhat humbled by the experience and the best part of it was being able to play a role in helping this wonderful family,” he added. Albanese also noted that the timing was somewhat serendipitous as the PROFILES lines have just been reaching retail floors for the first time in the past month. “This will ensure that if any viewers do see the products and want to purchase them, they will be able to locate them in their area.”, said Albanese. Because of disclosure restrictions, Albanese would not comment on exactly who the family is or the town in which they live, saying only that it is in southwestern Virginia. “You’ll have to tune in to get that information. We’re sworn to secrecy.”, he said. EXTREME MAKEOVER – HOME EDITION is one of ABC’s most popular television shows and by far leads all other television program on Sunday nights. It is also ranked number 1 in the key adult 18-49 demographic and today boasts nearly 16 million viewers per episode. The show is produced by Endemol USA.
