American Furniture Hall Of Fame Opens New Exhibit In High Point

"The American Furniture Hall of Fame is honoring its 68 members with an exhibit in the entrance to the Plaza Suites Building on Main Street, in High Point, NC on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 2:00 PM" announced Steve Kincaid, President of Kincaid Furniture and President of AFHF. "Historical artifacts from the AFHF archival files, which have been collected over the past seventeen years, are included." The exhibit is sponsored by Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., under the direction of Tom Mitchell, President of MMPI. The American Furniture Hall of Fame is an all-industry effort organized to honor those individuals whose outstanding achievements have contributed to the continued growth and development of the American manufactured furniture industry and to research, collect and preserve its cultural, economic and artistic history.
