$3.5 Million Verlo facility set to be unveiled in May

Verlo Mattress Factory Stores of Appleton will unveil its newly built $3.5 million facility on West College Avenue, directly across College from Barnes & Noble, in early May. This major undertaking, which was initiated in the fall, has now reached fruition and offers a more visible site than its prior Lynndale Drive locale. Franchise owner Jake Stanek said the new 14,000-square foot retail store and factory will continue to showcase a wide variety of futons, day beds and memory foam mattresses. This new Grand Chute facility currently hosts the largest showroom floor space in the 62-store national franchise. Stanek has operated the franchise since June 2003 and also owns a store in Oshkosh. “We’re pleased that our volume has doubled since that time. We’re thrilled to introduce our new facility to this area. And it definitely will accommodate our growth more efficiently,” Stanek said.
