MAC Commercial Finance Adds Industry Veterans to Commercial Services Division

GMAC Commercial Finance (GMAC CF) announced that lending industry veterans David (Dave) Baartmans and Clarence (Wyn) Godwin have joined the Company's Commercial Services Division. Dave Baartmans, senior vice president/regional sales manager, is located in Charlotte, N.C. Dave's responsibilities include managing business development throughout the Southeast and Midwest United States. Mr. Baartmans has worked in the U.S. factoring and asset-based lending industry since 1992. After earning his MBA from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., Baartmans' secured lending career path has involved automotive floor planning, rediscounting, factoring, global/domestic trade finance and asset-based lending. Prior to joining GMAC CF, Baartmans held positions with GE Capital, Nations Credit, Capital Factors and most recently with CIT Group. Wyn Godwin, senior account executive/business development officer, is located in Greensboro, N.C. Godwin's responsibilities include portfolio management plus new business and influence center development. Mr. Godwin brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role at GMAC CF. Before joining the Company, he held positions with NCNB, GE Capital (as successor to First Factors) and most recently with BB&T Factors as portfolio risk manager - client administration and head of client administration/client administration services. Godwin is a graduate of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.
