James Kennedy Appointed VP, Operations, Baker Knapp & Tubbs

Baker Knapp & Tubbs announced that James Kennedy has been named vice president, operations – Baker Knapp & Tubbs. In this position, Kennedy will be responsible for all domestic and international manufacturing, distribution, customer service, engineering and facilities. Kennedy will report to Kevin Ward, president – Baker Knapp & Tubbs. “We are very fortunate to have an industry leader such as James joining our team,” said Ward. “He brings demonstrated success and solid knowledge to this position.” Prior to joining Baker Knapp & Tubbs, Kennedy was vice president of Supply Chain Management at HDM Furniture. Kennedy has also held positions at Henredon Furniture including most recently vice president of Manufacturing and director of Manufacturing Operations. Prior to his work at HDM Furniture and Henredon, Kennedy was an industrial engineer at American Drew Furniture. Kennedy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in furniture manufacturing and management and industrial engineering from North Carolina State University.
