Furniture Team, a management search firm specializing in the home furnishings industry, announces the sale of the company to Peter Tomeck. Mr. Tomeck, who had joined Furniture Team in November of 2005 as a Senior Executive Recruiter at Furniture Team has assumed the role of President and has acquired the company from Bill O’Malley recently named President of Belfort Furniture. "Pete Tomeck is uniquely qualified to manage this firm. There is a growing demand for specialized recruiting in home furnishings and Pete Tomeck has the integrity, contacts and real world hiring experience that will ensure a smooth transition with our existing client base;” noted Bill O’Malley, former owner. Established in December of 1999, Furniture Team has performed Management and Executive search with leading retail, wholesale and logistics companies. Prior to Furniture Team, Mr. Tomeck was Director of Operations, Customer Service and Human Resources for GOODS Furniture a division of Breuner’s Home Furnishings Corporation (BHFC) BHFC. Prior to BHFC, Pete held District and Regional Management positions with two leading retail drugstore chains, which included Thrift and Eckerd Drugs. Mr. Tomeck has a B.S.
