Carls Design Studio Hires Marketing Directors

Jeff Baker, COO and President of Carls Furniture announced that Mora Newman and Lissie Rosenblum have joined the Top -100 furniture retailer as Directors of Marketing for Carls Design Studio. Ms. Newman, a fourth generation furniture industry family member, has over 20 years experience in retail furniture and interior design. Ms. Rosenblum has over 20 years experience in the building and model merchandising industry. She also holds a current real estate license. Mora and Lissie will be responsible for promoting Carls Design Studio as the company intensifies its efforts to grow their interior design business and continues its mission to build relationships with builders, developers and Realtors. Carls Furniture has been a market leader in the South Florida home and design business since 1943. Carls has eleven furniture and eight patio showrooms in Florida, and two patio locations under a separate brand name in California. In 2005, Carls had annual sales in the amount of $134.2 million and 520 full time employees. Every Carls location is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday from noon to 6 pm.
