New VP Sales For Powell Company

The Powell Company has hired David Gingrich, an industry veteran, as Vice President of Sales for its Mass Channel division. David brings over 25 years of home décor and accent furniture executive management experience to Powell. David will be reporting directly to Bill Benton, President and CEO. Bill stated, “I am very pleased with the addition of David to the Powell senior management team. He brings many years of diversified experience in the mass distribution channel in sales, product development, sourcing and executive management. I look forward to working with him and further developing Powell's thriving business." Prior to joining Powell, David was President of direct sourcing company, Sycamore Art Works, Inc., and President and CEO of Masterworks Décor, Inc. David’s career also includes senior management positions with The Cluett Corporation, Home Fashions, Inc., and Intercraft Industries, Inc. David has an MBA from the University of Texas and an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. David now resides in North Carolina.
