Phoenix, Arizona based innovations m2, llc., announced that they have been selected as the North Americad distributor for Starline International, the first international group in the world to manufacture and distribute Bio-FireplacesÆ. The company will be showing the Starline product line at the Las Vegas Furniture Market later this month. These stylish and ventless fireplaces sold through furniture stores, can be placed anywhere and burn clean, "green" bio fuel made from corn or sugar cane. According to innovations m2, the units have residential and commercial applications, and can be used in in-store furniture displays to create dramatic effects. Retailers do not need to keep large inventories, as the fireplace units can be drop-shipped directly to clients. "Allowing a fireplace with no venting required changes the concept of how people think about having the focal point of their home or commercial installation in today’s restricted environment," said Mike Grout of innovations m2. "Now fireplaces can be installed almost any where, rather than where the chimney or fuel supply dictates where the location will be." Users love the fireplace because there is no messy soot or popping embers. The units are so safe that consumers can leave the fireplace burning and go to bed." Underwriters Laboratories Inc. is completing the testing of our fireplaces and we should have the results shortly.
