NBC’s Today Show, the top-rated morning news program was in High Point Thursday filming a segment in the Sligh Furniture showroom for a feature on current and future trends for the home. The Family Communications Center is showcased in the segment as an example of furniture that is trendsetting in its capability to house, dock and recharge a multitude of home electronic devices, and organize and store a busy family’s clutter of schedules, appointments, books, mail and mementos. The report is scheduled to air on the Today Show Thursday, March 8 at approximately 7:40am EST. Sligh Furniture Chairman, Rob Sligh, who was interviewed on camera for the story, noted that, “Smart homes need smart furniture.
