Canadian TV Hosts Steven & Chris To Introduce Decor-Rest Collection

Canadian television designing duo Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman are teaming up with Decor-Rest Furniture Ltd. of Toronto to launch their brand new S&C upholstery line at the High Point Market this month. Steven and Chris will be on hand on Monday, March 26, to introduce the collection at a press breakfast in Decor-Rest’s High Point showroom, 208 Jacobs Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The design team behind the new line will walk the members of the press through the new upholstery collection, produced by Decor-Rest, and answer questions about other S&C brand launches planned for this year. Both Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman had many years of residential and commercial design experience under their belts before they took to the North American air waves, with Designer Guys and Design Rivals, airing on Discovery Home and HGTV Canada, and So Chic with Steven & Chris, a fashion makeover show on the Life Network. Steven and Chris have appeared on a number of talk shows, including the Oprah Winfrey Show, and are regularly featured as design experts in numerous magazines. The mid-priced S&C upholstery line by Decor-Rest consists of seven groupings: five groupings with a sofa, loveseat and chair, available in a wide range of fabrics in more than 70 colors; one sofa grouping in leather, available in more than 60 colors; and one sectional grouping in fabric. Customizable features include a choice of skirt or wooden trim, grooved or plain leg, and grooved or plain wooden base. In addition to the seven sofa groupings, the S&C collection by Decor-Rest has four accent chairs, all available in fabric or leather, and upholstered headboards available in fabric. Suggested retail price range for S&C upholstery is $1,099 to $1,299 and it ships in April.
