Cornerstone Health Care providers will once again provide free minor medical care to attendees at the Spring 2007 High Point Market in cooperation with High Point Regional Health System and the High Point Market Authority. James C. Anderson, MD, Vice-President of Cornerstone Health Care, who is founder and manager of the project, confirmed that care will be provided from the Hospital's HOPE Unit, which will be parked in a central location on Wrenn Street, behind the Radisson Hotel. Cornerstone providers will man the 44-foot-long bus-like healthcare facility from 10 am until 5 pm, Monday, March 26th through and including Sunday, April 1st. The minor medical care program was introduced in October, 2003 with the number of patients treated increasing each market. According to Brian Casey, President of the High Point Market Authority, the service represents a valuable benefit for Market-goers. “By providing free minor medical care to our out-of-town visitors, Cornerstone Health Care and High Point Regional Health System help those who may become ill away from home get back to business quickly. I don’t know of any other trade show in the industry that provides this level of service to their participants.” Medical care providers will be prepared to treat headache, cough, ear ache, vomiting/diarrhea, rashes, sinusitis, stomach ache, conjunctivitis, bladder infection, allergy symptoms and other minor conditions.
