Brown Street Introduces White Mountain Ash Bedroom

New Hampshire-based Brown Street Furniture announced that they have introduced a new bedroom collection made from solid white ash. The clean design of this new collection features subtle curves that complement the dramatic wood grain. White ash has strong grain patterns that appear as parallel lines or swirls and waves. The wood is hard, straight-grained and light, with high shock resistance and excellent steam-bending characteristics. Because of its strength and light weight, ash has long been the wood of choice for baseball bats, tennis racquets and other sports equipment. Following the Brown Street tradition, White Mountain Ash frames feature mortise-and-tenon joinery. Bedrails are double bolted. Drawers are dovetailed at front and back corners and then stained and lacquered inside and out. Wood-on-wood center drawer glides are glue-block reinforced. Everything is then protected by Brown Street’s hand-rubbed lacquer finish. Customers can choose from twin, full, queen or king beds, six dressers, three nightstands, two mirrors and an armoire. They can also choose from ten hardware designs and ten different finishes. All are available with an eight-week delivery.
