Atlanta-based Leath Furniture, LLC, a leading home furnishings retailer with showrooms in Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, announced that after over 100 years in the retail furniture business it has decided to close its remaining eighteen stores and will begin conducting a going out of business sale at all of its locations. The company's regretful decision comes as a result of unfavorable financial conditions including the decline in the furniture industry. Chief Financial Officer Barbara Snow states "the difficulties in the furniture industry have caught up with Leath Furniture, forcing us to close our stores. We want to thank all of our loyal customers for their support and patronage and our employees for their years of dedicated service."
