Rep Association IHFRA Announces New Major Medical Plan Benefit

IHFRA, the International Home Furnishings Representatives Association announced that a new Association Major Medical Program has been made available to IHFRA members in select states through Insurance Specialists, Inc (ISI). The ISI Association Major Medical Program is comprised of two plans, both providing comprehensive protection against the high cost of catastrophic illness or accident. Affinity Advantage Co-pay and Affinity Advantage HSA are available for enrollment June 2007. The program is underwritten by World Insurance Company, a trusted name in the healthcare insurance marketplace since 1903. Its documented experience and longevity in the funding of reserves has earned World Insurance a current rating of A- (Excellent) by financial analyst A. M. Best, confirmation of its seventeen years of consecutive surplus growth. The carrier will also offer Limited Benefit Plan alternatives for those whose medical histories disqualify them for coverage. ISI will also offer a new Simplified Issue Whole Life insurance program that would complement the Major Medical package to achieve maximal tax benefits. Membership in IHFRA will be required for insured enrollment in the plans and products would be available exclusively to eligible members, member families, member employees and their eligible family members.
