The International Home Furnishings Representatives Association announced that it will offer a wide range of services at the Fall High Point Market. The IHFRA Office is located at IHFC Main Wing Lower Level. Market hours of 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. begin on Saturday, September 29 through Saturday, October 6. Pagers may be rented for the entire Market at the cost of $44.95. Please reserve your pagers in advance by calling the IHFRA Office. Free legal counsel for IHFRA members will be available on Thursday, October 4 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Call the IHFRA Office to schedule your appointment. All current Opportunity Center ads will be available for IHFRA members seeking additional lines. Manufacturers are encouraged to post job openings prior to Fall Market. Insurance Specialists Inc. representative Nathan Gardner will be available on Wednesday, October 3. IHFRA now offers major medical health insurance to its members through Insurance Specialists Inc. In addition to major medical ISI will work with members on an individual basis for health care coverage. ISI has added discounted long term care insurance for IHFRA members to round out their offerings of Accident and Sickness Disability, Comprehensive Accident Coverage and Group Term Life. Office Depot’s representative Allen Maine will be available Saturday, September 29 to answer questions about the Office Depot discount, new printing options available and make free luggage tags from members’ business cards. Discount code for the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino for January Las Vegas Market will be available for IHFRA members only. All other discount codes for hotels and car rentals are available on the IHFRA website, www.ihfra.org. New Members’ Week will also be held October 1 - 7. New members are eligible for a drawing to win free IHFRA membership for one year, free night’s stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites, Office Depot gift card, and 50% off Enterprise Car Rental for the Fall 2007 High Point Market. A representative from Quadra Soft will be available for software demonstrations beginning Friday, September 28 at the IHFRA Office. TotalRep by Quadra Soft is the software solution for the home furnishings representative. Reps can have all their dealer information at their fingertips (photos, prices, orders, covers, colors, finishes). It also features full commission reporting and business analysis and allows you to build orders by container, truck load seats, etc. “On the fly” data entry is also available. Website Upgrade: The International Home Furnishings Represenentative Association (IHFRA) also announced that over the past several months the organization has been working to provide its membership with an enhanced website that is more visually appealing and offers the members ease of navigation and more information. Representatives can now add their personal resumes to their online profiles, view opportunity center ad listings, access all member benefits links and benefit codes directly from the website and much more. The new online directory can be sorted by sales representative, by state, by chapter or by manufacturer and includes all pertinent information on the sales representative’s profile. All IHFRA chapters now have their own page on www.ihfra.org so members can view current activities in their local chapter. A PowerPoint slide show will be made available in the IHFRA Office during the High Point Market allowing members to view the new website enhancements.
