Laneventure Expands Market Square Chicago Showroom

Laneventure announced that it is expanding its Chicago showroom from The Merchandise Mart's 17th floor to the 15th floor, home of Market Square Chicago, at the Merchandise Mart. Market Square Chicago taps the growing demand for home accents and furnishings that bridge fine retail and the luxury resources of the Design Center - uniquely satisfying both designers and lifestyle retailers with choice, convenience and quality. The addition of Laneventure and its growing lines of furniture for both outdoors and indoors will enhance the product offerings within Market Square. Laneventure features collections by artist/designer Bob Timberlake, renowned design talents, Celerie Kemble, Raymond Waites and Mimi McMakin and Brooke Huttig. "This move helps us showcase a larger portion of our product assortment," said Art Thompson, president, Laneventure. "By moving to the 15th floor, we will be also be able to get our products in front of more customers, especially the interior designers that already shop Market Square every day." The company's new showroom on the 15th floor will be increased by 20 percent over its former space on the 17th floor. The expansion will accommodate new introductions of designer collections. "Laneventure's move and expansion at The Merchandise Mart answers the growing needs of the Casual industry," said John H. Brennen III, executive vice president, Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc." Consumers are spending more money on their outdoor spaces than ever before." Laneventure expects an early Spring 2008 opening for its new home in showroom 1551. The showroom will be open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. to the design trade and their customers. Additionally, the showroom will be open during the 2008 July Pre Market and September 2008 International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market. Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.
