Herb Fisher of Fisher's of San Antonio, Dead at 97

The Experess News, San Antonio, TX reported that Herb Fisher, owner of furniture stores in Corpus Christi, Victoria and San Antonio died of natural causes last Thursday. The article said that, "Herb Fisher was the ultimate salesman. Not only was he known to have sold the same bed in which he had slept the night before, he also sold the table on which he ate breakfast after someone expressed interest in buying it, his family said. "Selling his own furniture led the way to a successful business career that lasted more than 60 years. Fisher, who never retired, owned Fisher's of San Antonio Furniture Store."
