Acacia Home and Garden, Incorporated announced a new licensing partnership with Cabana Joe’s, Incorporated, Beverly Hills, California. Elements from nature have been integrated into two new Cabana Joe’s collections encompassing deep seating, dining, bedroom and case goods due to launch in April 2008 at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina. Following will be two collections designed for outdoor living in Chicago this summer at the International Casual Furniture premarket in July 2008. Cabana Joe’s new collections are an eclectic mix of materials and are influenced more heavily on current fashion trends. This seasons resort and cruise ready to wear shows a mix of textures including shells to leather and skins. Also, fabrics used in this seasons ready to wear collections use khaki, black, gray and animal and ethnic prints to create a fabulous neutral palette, with a new take on pattern, that can be layered with a pop of color. You will see these elements translated into a chic sophisticated casual style that is indicative of his signature style: “To sit down and be comfortable whether you’re in a ball gown or surfer trunks”, says Joe. “Cabana Joe” O’Brien lives in Hawaii and spends his time surfing and designing.
