CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway company, has acquired Roomservice Group in London as part of an expansion into the United Kingdom. Roomservice is the company’s first international acquisition. For more than 35 years, CORT has been the nation’s leading furniture provider in the “rent-to-rent” industry. In addition, CORT has established the nation’s first suite of rental relocation services from a company exclusively focused on the rental needs of companies and their employees. Roomservice by CORT will provide furniture rental and design solutions for residential and commercial properties. In addition, the business will continue to provide furniture rental services to multi-national corporations, relocation service providers and their agents to support the relocation of international assignees.
