Highland Design To Introduce TV Cabinets, Bedroom Groups & Sales Guarantee in Vegas

Los Angeles-based furniture designer and manufacturer Curt Christian announced the introduction of series of new products and programs launching at the Las Vegas January 2008 show. Mr. Christian noted that, "The Highland Design label grew at double digits in 2007 due to a slew of new products and big business from some Top 100’s. Long recognized for our pioneering ways, we were early entrants into China and developed one of the first mainstream leather sleigh beds, still a strong seller. Now we are looking to leverage our strength as a direct manufacturer with several firsts in products and sales programs designed to give our retailers a huge advantage." Product introductions include: 1. Complete TV Wall Cabinet Collection: The flat panel display advanced TV market is red hot, with plasma and LCD’s becoming the top selling format in 2005 and continuing to double in sales through 2007. With consumer prices steadily decreasing, we see no end in sight and are introducing the first complete collection of six wall-mounted cabinets specifically engineered to house flat panels. Each cabinet is an extension of a previously proven collection, and all feature our trademark sleek design with finely polished wood surfaces, mirrored sliding door panels, and high end glides. 2. High Fashion Bedroom Groups: Our last bedroom introduction was an exclusive for a Top 100 featuring mirror paneled drawer fronts that swiftly became our top selling collection. Now we are introducing three new collections, the Echo, the Madison and the Dupree with a similar high fashion sense to appeal to the modern Lifestyle buyer. As with all of our collections, case goods feature dovetail drawers, premium glides, and removable tops and drawer fronts where 85% of damage occurs. It allows us to keep our damage rate among the best in the business at less than 1%. 3. Sales Guarantee: The retail environment is challenging right now, and we are doing our part to calm buyer jitters by introducing a bold new program that guarantees success with our line of top-selling Lifestyle bedroom groups.
