The new stores are located in Orlando, Dallas, New Orleans, Raleigh, San Antonio, St. Louis and Hilton Head, S.C. The Hilton Head market represents a new market entry for the company and its second newly launched franchise operation over the past six months. “The addition of seven new stores in January is another step in our goal to establish market leadership in several key and growing markets and also enter new markets that present a good growth opportunity,” said Gary Fazio, Mattress Firm’s chief executive officer. “We opened 126 new stores in 2007 through a combination of both organic growth and acquisitions.
