Groovystuff Initiates Third Party Audi By Rainforest Alliance

In response to the growing need for accountability in the home furnishings industry, Groovystuff announced that it has initiated a third party audit of its product lines through the Rainforest Alliance. After two on site audits from the certifying agency at the corporate offices in Dallas, TX, Groovystuff has begun the formal process of complying with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standard FSC-STD-40-004 through SmartWood, with the goal of achieving FSC chain-of-custody certification for post-consumer reclaimed wood products in 2008.
