Klingman Furniture Company To Move To New Location

The owners of Israels Fine Home Furnishings who recently purchased 112 year-old Grand Rapids based retailer Klingman Furniture Company announced that they plan to move Klingman's to a new location. “The Klingman’s lease is up in its present location at the end of May, and our plan is to move Klingman’s to a new location. The “new” Klingman’s will be totally restocked with the lines that made Klingman’s famous in the high end furniture business in the past,” said Robert Israels, who also owns Israels Fine Home Furnishings stores in Grand Rapids. “But before we can relocate,” added Israels, “we must sell out the entire and complete stock from the Klingman’s store located at the Centerpointe Mall as soon as possible.” Klingmans carries Stickley, Hancock & Moore, Hooker, Hekman, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, Marge Carson, Karastan, Howard Miller, Universal, Shermag, Lexington Brands, Nichols & Stone, Canadel, Bradington Young, Ferguson Copeland Superior and Hammary, along with others. The Lynch Sales Company, which is headquartered here and is an international Sales Event Specialist, is handling the Sale.
