Murray Feiss Lighting, a Generation Brands Company, a leading resource for interior and exterior decorative lighting and accessories for home and hospitality, announced that it has taken a leap into cyber space with a new and improved website to drive business to their dealers. The website, www.feiss.com, now has new features which make it infinitely easier for the consumer to navigate and find the products they’re looking for. “We’re very excited about the new website launch and have been getting great feedback from our dealers,” said Greg Vandia, President of Murray Feiss. “Our customers are very internet savvy and their customers are used to surfing the internet 24/7 to find something they want, so we’ve made it really easy to find that special chandelier or lamp with all the information they need to make a decision at 10 o’clock at night when they’re home and be at their nearest dealer the next day to purchase it.” In addition to an exciting and comprehensive homepage to start the navigation process into the Murray Feiss site, there are two links to the individually branded designer sections of the website; Martha Stewart and Bob Mackie. The new website has a dealer locator feature on the navigation bar at the top of every page, plus a dealer locator on the Martha Stewart section of the website just for Martha Stewart product, and a choice of three different ways to find a Murray Feiss dealer on the dealer locator page. This adds up to four ways to locate an Authorized Murray Feiss dealer throughout the site. Other features of the website include a password protected dealer sub-site where Murray Feiss customers can track and check on orders, and get information on a product. On the consumer facing part of the site, individual product categories enabling ease at immediately finding the style a consumer may be looking for and all the information they would need to determine if a particular style will be enough light for their room, and what they need to know to assemble and install that style. Fun features for the consumer are romance copy to introduce each collection as well as the ability to copy the image of the chandelier, sconce or bath fixture to send to their husband or wife at work. Also a great new ZOOM feature; on any style, a customer can zoom in on the product right up to seeing the texture of the finish or the sparkle of the crystal. “We have found that this is a fun feature for our dealer’s customers,” said Steve Crawford, National Sales Manager, “to be able to get right in on a finish or see the texture of a linen shade is a really cool feature and doesn’t leave anything to question by the consumer. It’s a really great feature consumers are used to on high end apparel websites and we consider ourselves high end apparel for the home.” Pertinent information about Energy Star indoor and outdoor lighting is treated as a separate category. Quotes introducing each category section on the homepage add to the interest and beauty of the site. “We know our customer’s customer can go anywhere, so we want to give them every reason to come to us and our dealers” said Greg Vandia. “ We know it’s all about a positive experience online and the ease of finding information, so we’ve given them that.
