WithIt Names New Ambassadors Home Furnishings Industry Leadership is Key Focus Ambassadors Club Recognizes Most Supportive Members WithIt, the premiere international organization dedicated to the support and development of female professionals in the home industries, names new ambassadors for outstanding recruitment efforts in 2007 during the spring High Point Market. The Ambassadors Club was started by the 10-year-old organization in 2004 to recognize those members who significantly impact WithIt’s annual growth in terms of membership. Lifetime Ambassadors are acknowledged for adding at least 15 home industry professionals to the WithIt roster in a given year. The 2007 Lifetime Inductees are Kathleen Holterman, French heritage; Mary Frye, HFIA; and Leslie Carothers, the Kaleidoscope Partnership. Brett Hatton, ceo of Four Hands, was the 2006 Ambassador inductee, preceded in 2005 by Kathy Wall, president, The Media Matters, Inc. and Kathi Cunningham, senior account executive, Four Hands. All WithIt Ambassadors will be honored at this year’s WOW Awards Dinner, slated to coincide with the organization’s annual Educational Conference, scheduled for August 13 – 15 in Charlotte, NC. Ambassadors will receive an amethyst imbedded lapel pin, custom-designed for WithIt, and special recognition in the organization’s printed directory.
