Daniel J. Dorzback Joins Executive Search Firm Career Management

Daniel J. Dorzback has joined Career Management, an executive search firm specializing in the retail, catalog and e-commerce industries, as vice president of the newly-created international business unit. In his role, the veteran retail executive will focus primarily on opportunities with international retail and manufacturing companies, making placements overseas as well as in the United States for global companies. He will also handle domestic recruiting assignments for U.S.-based clients. Mr. Dorzback brings to Career Management over 25 years of experience in the retail, catalog, and e-commerce industries. Most recently, he was chief merchandising officer for Petals Decorative Accents, a direct mail company specializing in quality silk florals and home décor. Prior to that, he was retail director for Mikasa, with responsibility for the company’s dinnerware and home décor business sectors. Earlier in his career, he served as director of merchandising for Kohler Industries’ Baker Furniture unit and as a merchandise manager and buyer at ABC Carpet & Home. He began his career in retailing in 1981 in Bloomingdale’s executive training program and, in 1983, joined RH Macy’s as a buyer. A resident of New York, N.Y., Mr. Dorzback graduated from Boston University with an M.B.A. in International Marketing and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
